...can you smell it?

Tune in starting Saturday, October 1. I'll be on that horse again.

Here's the complete, updated listing of my appearances for 2016:

February 26-28: Wizard World Cleveland, Cleveland, OH

April 2-3: Gem City Comicon, Dayton, OH

April 16: Queen City Comicon,, Cincinnati, OH

May 13-15: Motor City Comicon, Detroit, MI

June 4: Tricon, Huntington, WV

September 23-25: Cincinnati Comic Expo, table 164, Cincinnati, OH

October 15: Kokomo-Con, table 82, Kokomo, IN

October 16: Cartoon Crossroads Columbus, NiX Comics booth, 12:00-1:00, Columbus, OH

October 29: Champion City Comicon, Springfield, OH

November 5-6: Akron Comicon, table A59, Akron, OH

I take early reservations for commissions at every show I attend, and I do sketches on site as well. Message me for details if you're planning to attend, and would like a piece of original art.

9x12" ink drawing commissions are $40; 11x14" are $60. If you'd like to get on the list, contact me here, or on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or email me:

I will also have copies of pulp. available for $10 each; the price includes a sketch inside while you wait!

Hope to see some of you there.

Earlier this year I completed the art for THE DEVOURING with writer Gary Scott Beatty. It's set to appear in the all-new horror series "STRANGE HORROR" from Aazurn Publishing. Look for it later this year; more details as I have them.

I also provided some full-color art for an all-new story to appear in Nix Comics Quarterly #9. It's written by comic-book know-it-all Christian Hoffer, with art and lettering by yours truly. It will debut at the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus, this October! I'll be signing copies at the Nix Comics booth on Sunday.

The newly-resurrected Caliber Comics has re-released my first installment of GHOST SONATA in the latest edition of CALIBER PRESENTS. It's available for order now. I'll also have my own artist feature section in Volume 4, coming soon; I'll provide a link when that one's available.

I have finished the paperback collection of all the drawings from my InkTober efforts in a 36-page book simply titled "pulp". It is available to order now through the CreateSpace store, and through List price is $10.

I will also have copies with me for sale at all of my convention appearances this year as well, and your purchase will include a free quick sketch on the inside, as a bonus.

So if you'd like to see all of these illustrations in a lovely collected format, instead of the camera-phone WIP shots I posted here, click on through and order a copy for yourself! Thanks.

Freddy is a comic book artist such as yourself. Different style (naturally). He often gets out to the big cons to meet and greet and *draw*!
No probs. I just thought you might have crossed paths.

Hello Andy B3nn3t,

I don't know if you missed my message on "Jinkies" (or as you would have pr3f3rred: "Jinkies!").

To sum up, I took a shine to it, downloaded it, and set about a colour treatment - which veered off into something more interesting after a while, as they do.*

I'm ludicrously pleased with the result, I want to post it (crediting your good self, of course!) and reap a heaping of praise from my millions of adoring fans.
As you do.

May I?
Thanking you for these 8 seconds of your precious time,
- Lookafar -

*(I've done similar with the works of other Deviants. My approval ratings remain high.)
