this is so pretty in a simple way. the black and white make what could have been over complicated very pleasing to the eye, yet still intricate.

WOW LOOK AT MY ART LANGUAGE, MR THOMAS WOULD BE SOO PROUD. sorry for the outburst... highschool flashback. anyway *thumbs up*

Thanks! I went through a phase of working on VERY SMALL surfaces, during which I trained myself to economize. Now that I've gone back to (relatively) larger surfaces, it's easier for me to see where detail is needed or NOT needed, conversely. Everybody should try it.

I did about 95 re-draws on that face, until I was happy with it. I'm usually more spontaneous than that.
