Found this one, had forgotten about it. A quick one from a sketchbook at Gem City Comicon in April. The Penguin - inspired by Danny DeVito's awesome turn, but taken a little further.

Bad image quality; shot with my digital camera.

Nice to meet you as well!! As for my wife's pic...yes..she loves it!! She is still on the hunt for the perfect frame to put it in!! Won't be long, and I'm sure it will be hanging somewhere in our house!!

Before I read the title I thought it was Dr. Caligari! Anyway nice job! I was immediately drawn to the heavy blacks and that nasty, sneering face.

Personally I never liked the Penguin character, he was always my least favorite Batman villain, and I've never understood his popularity. So an extra cool interpretation is required for me to find him impressive, or to enjoy seeing him. The Burton/DeVito version - and this drawing - both did that rare trick for me.
