CONFIRMED APPEARANCES FOR 2015
COMICS PROJECTS FOR 2015:
Thanks to everyone who has bought, read, and/or reviewed "Do You Remember Rock 'N' Roll Record Stores". Ken, Bela and I put a lot of heart and soul into that book, and your support and feedback is appreciated. And because of that, we are developing a follow-up comic: "Jim Shepard: Negotiate Nothing". It's another Ohio indie-rock masterpiece penned by Bela, adapted by Ken, and illustrated by me, about Columbus rock legend Jim Shepard, lead singer of the seminal bands Vertical Slit and V3, who took his own life in 1998.
Art is underway, and our plan is to debut the book at SPACE in Columbus on July 17th!
More updates as they come!

INKTOBER 2019 on your bookshelf - at last!
Wow - 2020's been a year, hasn't it? I normally have a book out in February or March that collects my previous Inktober efforts. I had every intention of doing the same thing this year, but... man, that didn't happen, did it? October came and went this year, and I had some comics work that I was doing, so I couldn't fit in an Inktober effort this year; I usually devote quite a lot of time and effort to it, so I didn't want to compromise that. Since I wasn't able to clear the slate ahead of time, I decided to take an Inktober break for 2020, after 5 straight years. I was finally able to find the time to complete the retrospective book project over Thanksgiving break - and JUST IN TIME for gift-giving season. I've tried to pull out all the stops this year, clocking in at 88 pages of content, behind-the-scenes sketches and warm-ups, a few commissions, bonus art, notes on tools & techniques, and even a proper introduction by prominent Muppet journalist Joe Hennes. Thanks, and Happy Holidays
Hey, a huge thanks to everyone who checked out my eBay auctions for Inktober. The results were far and away greater than I could have ever expected, and we've covered all the hospital bills!
I'm close to settling on a print option - PROBABLY right here through DeviantArt, once I update the source files with clean scans. In the meantime, if anyone has a particular request for a drawing they would like to purchase as a print, let me know and I'll add priority to those.
I have kind of begun the design process on the art book for this year's Inktober, but probably won't have anything to announce until after the new year, but be on the lookout f

Sesame Street 50th Anniversary
Sesame Street was a HUGE part of my childhood. I credit my early reading ability to it. So great to see the cast and crew of skilled artists and craftspeople still hard at work making things better for kids all over the world, even after 50 years. Here's to 50 more, CTW!
