I shared a process shot of this page about a year ago, and now I'll be posting the entire short story here, sans lettering. This is page 1 of 4 of "Eddie and Squid Contemplate the Great Beyond". You can download for a larger view.
These were drawn on 11x15" Strathmore 400-series cold-press watercolor blocks, in India ink, with a 102 crow quill and the nastiest brush I could find. They were then scanned, and colored in Photoshop CS5.1. Lettering was later added in Illustrator CS5.1.
This 4-page story was written by indie-comics guru Ken Eppstein, and published in issue 4 of Nix Comics Quarterly.
